not sure when Allrecipes changed some of it’s recipes around, but I’ve lots the one I used to LOVE for tater tot casserole. This is a quick, off-the-top-of-my-head version of the 50’s classic:
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 16oz container sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese
one package frozen tater tots
1 TBS. worchestershire sauce
1 TBS. garlic bread seasoning
1 TBS. taco seasoning
brown ground beef with worchestershire. drain fat off beef.
in a seperate bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and garlic bread seasoning.
in a 9X9 pan, layer ground beef on the bottom, top with sour cream mixture, then cheese
arrange tater tots on top of casserole, sprinkle with taco seasoning and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until tater tots are browned and sides are bubbly.
