Cranberry sauce is not hard to make, and it is much better for you to make it yourself than buy a can of corn syrup-laden gosh awful stuff.
Because I hail from Bandon, Oregon; where cranberry is QUEEN, I’ve had a lot of exposure to many different recipes. This one is an adaptation of several, with my own twist;) If you want to try the BEST cranberry products EVER….check out Vincent Family Farms.
2 bags fresh cranberries
2 cups orange juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 shots Tuacca (vanilla liquor)
1 TBS. pumpkin pie spice
one cup dried cranberries
in a large sauce pan, pour fresh cranberries and add enough orange juice to just cover. Add in sugar, Tuacca, pumpkin pie spice and bring to a boil. Let boil for 10 minutes, then add dried cranberries. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Serve cold. Enjoy!
